Mexican Giant Musk Turtles

Mexican Giant Musks are one of the very best tank turtles. Excellent swimmers, they do well in shallow water, they get along very well with other mud and musk turtles. They are incredible predators, and will pretty much eat what ever they can catch. We raise ours on fish, meat and pellets. They will also take some plants.

Featured in an article in the March 2008 issue of Reptiles Magazine, S. Triporcatus is the largest of the Mexican Giant Musk Turtles. They range from the Yucatan Peninsula, into parts of Honduras Guatemala and Belize.

If you’re looking to keep a very hungry, little eating machine, with a great big head, Mexican Giant Musk Turtles are what you’re looking for.
